Cupcake Experiments

So after watching one of my new favorite shows, DC Cupcakes (the acting is bad, but the cupcakes amazing!), I was inspired to create my own. So I settled with vanilla chai cupcakes with chocolate cinnamon ganache. Yum!
Took me awhile to make them, and I continually ran out of things I needed and had to improvise, but it worked! I actually used a french vanilla cake mix and added a chai tea mix to it, along with various spices.
I also set a new record to burning things. You know the saying "she could burn water"? I did. Kinda. I burned the next thing to it, tea. Call me a retard (my fiance already did) but I don't know how I did it. I really need to pay more attention.

Projects are killer. My thought for the day,

I woke this morning at NINE AM, amazing. I love to wake up now and see light coming threw the window. No school on Thursdays, thank goodness. But I do have PT to go too. Thanks bad back. I'm trying to cook cinnamon rolls that I've been craving (During lectures that's what I think about) My little sister is scared, reminding me of a cooking incident a while back. (Burned some macaroni, burned the pan, and almost the ceiling : not that bad) But I wasn't the one that set the microwave on fire, if I may say.

All new start

So new school, new town, and a new start at this whole college thing. But I feel like I'm getting it right this time around. I stopped writing a while back, but now I feel like I should continue. This time it's just me. Minnie.
So week 3 of the Art Institute has begun. Photography program.
Week 3, Day 2.
I stayed up until 1am last night finishing my projects due today. The best part? I'm sick. Sitting in a four hour class while snot falls out of your nose isn't fun. I lied about the best part though...I think the highlight of my day was when I cut my toe on my desk. Cut is being moderate. It's more like completely ripped open the side of my toe. I bled through three rags before it slowed. I also realized that my Mary Poppins purse is lacking band-aids. Now it's a beautiful black and red puff ball that sorta resembles a toe.
So now I'm sitting in my computer applications class that seriously teaches us how to click a mouse. See why I'm on here? I really want to start posting up my photography to see how people like it. I might try Flickr for that. We'll see.
